Balanced Programs
Pre-K - Grade 8

A Typical Lesson

First 10 Minutes
Students complete a 5 question review inside Math Capsules.

Students record results on the student record sheet.  Students may review missed problems using Skill Builders.

Middle 30-40 Minutes 
Students engage in a directed manipulative-based activity.  The teacher Guide with light script directs the lesson.

Students then work problems on  1 or 2 pages from their books to complete the in-depth learning part of the lesson.

Last 10 Minutes
Students play math games suggested in the Teacher Guide.  A coded Skill Builders page as extra help or for homework may be given.
