Salary
Full time position will office in Minneapolis with 30% to 50% overnight travel to assigned, exclusive territory in two or more adjoining states. Base salary dependent upon experience plus 5% commission on all sales. This position reports directly to the National Sales Manager.

Independent Sales Representatives (1099) are 100% commission based. Will be assigned exclusive geographical territory. These representatives report to a Regional Coordinator who will also visit and participate in sales calls.

Open territories: Northeast (Northern New York State, Northeast States, MA), Midwest (MN, WI, IL, MI), Southeast (GA, LA, NC, AL, MS), CA (Counties of San Diego/Orange and Sacramento/Alameda). These territories are open for full-time rep officing in Minneapolis or Independent Representatives living in the state.

Primary Responsibilities:
The role of both the full time and Independent Representative will be to increase sales by maintaining current key accounts and prospecting/growing new accounts. The individual will execute sales strategies and follow up with implementation after the sale is completed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Developing a sales and marketing plan for their territory with assistance from the Sales Coordinator and performing activities consistent with the plan
Making sales calls to districts and schools within assigned exclusive territory
Developing relationships with key decision makers
Presenting materials at tradeshows, with groups and in one-on-one meetings
Conducting after-sale implementation training workshops on site

– Lead generation
– Promotes, markets and sells the Moving with Math products from pre-k to high school within their territory
– Conducts sessions and product presentations to district and school offices
– Conducts and performs after-sales service calls
– Regularly reports forecast information to management
– Keeps accurate records of all travel and expense items for reimbursement and provides these documents to management in a timely fashion
– Reliable transportation is required
